The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie These cookies use butter-flavored shortening, brown sugar, egg, milk, chocolate chips and an option of pecans or more chips. Ingredients: • 3/4 cup butter-flavor Crisco • 1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar • 2 Tbsp. milk • 1 Tbsp. vanilla • 1 egg • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour • 3/4 tsp. salt • 3/4 tsp. baking soda • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans (optional) Method: Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Beat egg into creamed mixture. Combine flour, salt and baking soda and mix into creamed mixture until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips and pecan pieces. Drop by rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, 3 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies (cookies will still appear moist, but DO NOT OVERBAKE), or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool on baking sheet about 2 minutes. Remove to cooling rack. Notes: The pecans are optional, but if omitted, increase the chocolate chips to 1 1/2 cups. Number of servings: 3 dozen cookies

My favorite of all time: BAKED ZITI INGREDIENTS 1 pound dry ziti pasta 1 onion, chopped 1 pound lean ground beef 2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce 6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced 1 1/2 cups sour cream 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese DIRECTIONS Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ziti pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes; drain. In a large skillet, brown onion and ground beef over medium heat. Add spaghetti sauce, and simmer 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer as follows: 1/2 of the ziti, Provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce mixture. Top with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheeses are melted.

Chinky's Bibingka SUBMITTED BY: Chinky Viola "An all-time Philippine favorite. The creamy and sticky texture makes this recipe an irresistible one. Use any type of semi-soft or hard grated cheese, such as cheddar, that suits your taste." INGREDIENTS * 4 cups grated fresh cassava * 3 cups coconut milk * 3 tablespoons melted butter * 3 eggs * 1 1/2 cups white sugar * 1 teaspoon salt * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 1 teaspoon lemon zest * 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese * 2 cups coconut milk * 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk * 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour * 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese * 2 egg yolks, beaten DIRECTIONS 1. NOTE: Cassava, also known as Manioc, tapioca or yucca, can be found in Filipino or Latin American food stores. Usually sold frozen and grated. Mix together the cassava with the coconut milk, melted butter and eggs. Stir in the white sugar, salt, vanilla, cheese and lemon rind. 2. Pour batter into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees F (175 C) for 30-35 minutes or until done. 3. To Make Topping: Put 2 cups coconut milk, condensed milk, flour, and some grated cheese in a saucepan and boil, stirring constantly. When thick, add the slightly beaten egg yolks. Cook for two minutes. Spread on top of the cooked cassava and bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for ten minutes or until golden brown. Chinky's Puto Bread SUBMITTED BY: Chinky Viola "A Philippine favorite. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top, and enjoy hot or cold." INGREDIENTS * 2 3/4 cups cake flour * 1 1/4 cups white sugar * 2 tablespoons baking powder * 1/2 cup evaporated milk * 1 cup water * 2 eggs * 1 cup margarine, softened DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). 2. Mix together the cake flour, sugar and baking powder. Pour in the water and evaporated milk and stir well. Mix in the eggs and butter or margarine. 3. Pour the mixture into molds or muffin pans. Find a baking pan that your muffin pan will comfortable fit in. Pull the oven rack out a little (perhaps 1/4 out of the oven) and place the baking pan (with the muffin pan inside it) on the rack. VERY CAREFULLY pour about 4 cups of hot tap water into the baking pan which holds the muffin pan. Then VERY SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY slide the rack completely into the oven. 4. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. Be VERY CAREFUL not to burn your hands with hot water or steam when you remove the muffins from the oven. Top with grated cheese.

Hi people ! This recipe is very long and slow, but I made and liked so much ! Crockpot Creamy Chicken and Veggies Recipe INGREDIENTS: * 4 lb. chicken, cut into serving pieces * 2 lbs. small red potatoes, cut in half * 16 oz. pkg. baby carrots * 1 onion, chopped * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 14 oz. can low sodium chicken broth * 1 cup light sour cream * 3 Tbsp. flour * 1/8 tsp. white pepper * 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves PREPARATION: In 3-4 quart slow cooker, place potatoes, carrots and onion. Top with chicken. Pour chicken broth over all. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 8-9 hours until chicken is thoroughly cooked and vegetables are tender. In small bowl, stir together light sour cream, flour, pepper, and thyme until well blended. Stir into mixture in crockpot and turn heat to high. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. 6 servings NOTE: This recipe originally cooked for 10-12 hours on low. However, with the newer crockpots which cook hotter, you should start checking the chicken and vegetables for doneness at the 8 hour point.
