Do you think the end of the world is near?

Some people are saying it is because of the disasters happening all over the world... what's your idea on this?

Terms like "near" or "far" or "long" or "short" need a frame of reference. If our frame of reference is the life span of a human, the end of the world is "far" away. However, if our frame of reference is the life span of a star like our sun, the life span of the world might be 1/2 over or even more. Is the end of the world near? Yes and no, depending!
