After many times of looking and trying to find a Wii in our area. We got our hands on a Wii yesterday at Fred Meyer. YAY!! We are so tickled to finally have it. Its so much fun. Though we really need the extra controller so we can play with each other on it. but so much fun and so worth it!! I can't wait to get some more games for it. But at least Wii Sports is super fun and so interactive. Love it!

I told my husband that I would love to have one of the Wii. But, we can really live without it. The amount of time we would spend on it would be minimal. The grandkids would most definately love to come to Oma and Opa's much more.

Good thing you didn't have to hold your "wee" to get a Wii! I bet that it is a lot of fun and everyone wants to get their hands on it! And, I bet that it would be a lot more fun and everyone would be more tickled if you did get an extra controller!! Congrats on getting the Wii, I am sure that it is FUN!! :D

I have been wondering about the Wii for a while. What games come with it? How hard is it to use? In my opinion from what I have seen, I was guessing it may be a bit too complicated. Any way it would be nice to hear from some one who actually has it. BTW congrats!

Its really quite easy once you get use to it. It takes some getting use to holding the controller in the right way, but really its an easy pick up

My son got one for Christmas and we all love to play it. But we only have one controller. I think that the remote and nunchuck together is like $60. The games are more expensive too. I think they all start at like $50. I think they should come down to at least $35 on some titles. Glad you and your family are having fun with the Wii.

We got one for the kids for christmas and their only complaint so far is that they can't get on because I am hogging it trying to get my bowling average up...LOL. I think it's a great idea...they don't just sit there like zombies playing the games, they actually have to move around and at least get a little exercise.

That's a common problem whwn Kids are introduced to such gadgets. It may be a much more major problem in the days to come.It would be better if you allot times for outdoor games also.

That is so wonderful! ^_^ I'm glad to hear that you and your family are enjoying it. Do you know, I haven't had a new game system since the Sega? Sega Genesis, I guess. I only had one game for it. Or two. I had many games for the Nintendo 64, though. I sometimes miss playing it. I wonder if it still works. I'm not even sure where it is in the house. We also had an Atari game machine when I was about 5-6 that we have that I think still worked the last time I tried it several years ago. We had lots and lots of games for it. I loved it so much ^_^

I wish I could have the Wii, is it better than the PS3? What games did Nintendo publish for it?

Congrats on the Wii! My kids are dying for one, but we haven't had the funds to make that purchase yet. Not to mention the fact that they are still difficult to find. What games did you get with it? Please post a review so we can all enjoy the Wii vicariously through you :)

I heard it was good for more than just playing games. Is that true? Do you hook it up to the tv or through a computer monitor?

The Wii is a fun consol, but I would perfer the PS3 and the XOBX 360 just because of the graphics, but the Wii's controler looks so much fun to use, I might get it soon.
