Step Dads

I have had a few of them, and the last one was the greatest of all, the only problem is my Mom probally treated him worst than the others. I never understood even after I have grown up and have divorced I still don't understand. He never abused us, he always supported us and was always there no matter what, Now she has divorced him for the 2nd time and he is alone, he had a stroke and she said the divorce was for medical bills but I would never do that to my husband I would just deal with it. I love my mom and she is a great person to me but I don't understand her thinking. Can people be so hurt that they never except anyone else into there heart?

Some people do not handle heartbreak or hurt so well that they are tainted for life or for most of it... being their child, you certainly would not know anything there was in their relationship... so respect your parents decisions, it's up to you if you want to keep your relationship with the people you care about, ex of your mother's or not.

i am sorry to hear about your step dad. your mom probably has her reasons. she's probably hurt or scared. Have you tried talking to your mom? I hope everything turns out well for your stepdad.
