How Often do You change the oil in your car?

Automobile oil - Oil that you change in your car.

I know you are supposed to keep up with that pretty much. But, I am afraid I don't do it as often as I should. Not sure about the miles ...I'd have to say mmm less than a year, maybe every 6 to 8 months.

Depends on the running, around every 1000 miles. I regularly check it tho, if it needs to be changed.

Every 10 000 kms or each year, whatever gets first.... which is always the 10 000 kms limit. :)

heat and engine wear is what causes the need to change oil so it is not uncommon to change it regularly at mile limits

For a standard car, it is supposed to be every 3,000 miles or every 3 months, whichever happens first. Older cars in which the engine is flaky, when the oil is black, then it's time to change the oil, even if you haven't driven the car that much since the last oil change.

I change the oil every 3 months, or at 5,000 miles. I put in the sinthetics, as they are better for your car.

i get my oil changed every 3000 miles or 3 months whichever comes first. but usually it is every 3 months since i work at home, i do not put the miles on my car that much anymore.

Im not sure but I think you should change the oil in your once a year.I know you should always keep oil full in your car. And when that light comes on that means your husband is going to yell out you for not putting oil in it.heheheheh And this has happened to me!

Fot the first time in my life I have a new car so I wont be changing it ( the garage will) untill my service ,waranty are up . nice to meet you .. xx

every 5000 miles but you shouldnt wait to long as it will break down over time
