I live in a society where people are constantly talking abbout other peoples looks no matter wat they look like. I think there s too much of a discrimination made based on this... Many of my friends who dont look good are constantly under scrutiny because of this...anyone with some views please respond..

I agree, we live in a very shallow & materialistic society, where attractive & rich people are apparently more important. Even though someone ugly or ordinary looking could be a really caring & understanding person. I've seen some very shallow posts here at myLot, with titles such as "would you date an ugly person?" Do these people not realise that even ugly people have feelings & emotions & deserve respect

You are right about how society only cares about looks and money. I believe whats on the inside is more important than looks. And if someone is truly in love than money shouldnt even matter just as long as you are with that person.

Looks might matter, but only in some specific fields like modelling, movies, etc. As for the rest of the worldly matters we really don't need a nice face! I don't see all the business men to be nice looking man, and the same is the case with all the athletes and sportspersons. We need to realize that the world's diversity is a great resource for all of us. We should stop judging people based on looks alone. they might be dumber than the ones who look dumb. And going by the facial looks... Have a look at Infosys Chairman Narayan Murti, one of the leading personalities in India. And you can around and ask any India how much we admire him for his leadership qualities.

we are in a society wherein outside(face, body, looks) are more important than what's the inside(kindness, etc.) which sometimes the source of low self-esteem and lack of confidence of others. They discriminate other by their skin color, etc. But we are all created by God equally. No matter how you look.
