I can safely say that I do not take anything for granted. Sure technology makes our lie easier, but I could go back to times where there was less technology. I never take friends for granted, as they are special...and the same applies to family too. Never take anything for granted...because you never know when it will be lost.

Fair comment, but if you wanted to try it, do things like leave your mobile phone at home and switched off for the day, don't use the PC for the day and things like that. My sister finds it hard when the PC goes down, she gets withdrawal symptoms!

i would find it very hard to switch my phone off for a whole day. i could live without the pc for a day, and i have done before, but mobile phone would be hard to lose

Sadly I take too much in life for granted, including life itself. Life is so precious and you only get one shot at it. It's not like you can say, ok I messed up my life, can I have another go? How many people take life itself as granted? You could be killed or die tomorrow and we waste so much time worrying on stuff that is trivial. We have to live life to the full because we never know how long we are here for.

Well said that man! Everything is precious, and should be treated as such.

yeah i agree with you, i also have been in that situation you just cant think of what to do with yourself can you

I would have to agree with you on that one, technology has made ourlives quicker and easier and we never think baout what we would do if for some reason it went away. For example if there was a power cut most people would think 'oh it will be back on in a couple hours at most' but what if it didn't come back on for a week? How would we cope? Not enough people know how to live, living with technology doesnt constitute living anymore. I mean machines can even breath for you now. so, yeah technology is definately taken for granted

I often take forgrabted the beauty of nature. I am too busy with other things, mostly mundane dilemmas. I overlook the better things around me, the simple things that really matter, like sunsets, the stars at night. I may sound cheesy. But, sometimes, we need to take a time off from our busy lives and think about all these things to make ourselves feel better.

yeah i see what you mean, and it doesnt sound cheesy, we need to think of the more simple things in life and respect them more
