Do you believe that money could really be key to real happiness?? Can having everything that you want really fulfill your true desires?

No money cannot buy happiness really, although sadly many people think that they will be happy if they just have enough money. For those people, there will never be enough money for their happiness because they do not realise that happiness is a state of mind and it comes from within. Money can buy food and shelter but they can also be found through other methods without money, i.e. barter system is one way. We have some wealthy friends who have no money concerns at all, except where to invest it that is, and some friends who are poor. The rich ones are no happier than those of our friends who are poorer in the monetary sense. Money cannot buy love, friendship, trust, warmth, comfort, fidelity, honesty or sincerity to name just a few things that are very important to having a happy life. Happiness is what we attain by virtue of being a good person who happens to cherish life, our family and friends.

first teeth - A picture of my son's first teeth, such a priceless moment
Money is a factor to be happy. Can a person be happy if he doesn't have money to buy himself food? Yes there are some charitable institutions that give free food but relying on other people's charity wouldn't satisfy a person completely. Though true happiness is really priceless, it's like hearing your child's first cry or first words, nothing can ever repay those moments.

Money certainly makes one person's life easier. However, it cannot buy love or health. And you need both of those for happiness. So, in my opinion, it cannot buy happiness.

Money can make you happy but its not the key to happiness. Money really helps. I would just like enough to help pay the bills all the time. I just need that little extra. My husband and I said if we ever won the lottery things would be better for us. I agree but it wouldn't be the money. It would be the fact that we could be together all the time and enjoy doing more together.

money brings you happiness but that whichis temporary. see all money does is buy you things and those things are finite. finite things are limited which means if you get tired of that thing you are no longer happy about it so you will buy and find some other thing to be happy about and you find yourself unhappy because your tired of it. its a vicious cycle. the only good thing money does is that it helps you survive by providing you food, a place to live in, and those technical physical stuff. money can never buy you real friends nor can it buy you real love. money is not the answer to real happiness. having everything that you want in this world can never fulfill your true desires because man's desire is infinite. it can never be fulfilled by finite or material things. man can only be satisfied with the infinite or in the spiritual sense. you can only find real happiness in Love, Real Frienship, Trust and the things that money cannot buy and the eyes cannot see.mans will be satisfied with the things which the heart feels and the soul yearns for.

Though health is most important, when people do require money very badly, if they get money, they are the happiest people.

I have seen many rich unhappy people and many rich happy people. There is no true definition about money and happines. The best things in your life are free....love, friendship...evrything else...you have to pay for. Money can help you a lot....buy money will not buy true happines.

happiness is what is within and you can choose to be happy, the things that you think brings you happiness are fleeting. Having things though the are a responsibility could be you a sense of success. Depends there on what your idea of success is. Choose happiness!

No, it can ease your financial worries but it won't bring you happiness in itself. I think loving family and friends are much more important.

In my opinion, to share the happiness with my love one is priceless. This is one of few things money can't buy, any things else can be bought using money.

Money is not the key to happiness. It can make life easier, but it can also make certain things difficult. Sometimes it depends on how someone came to possess the money, whether it be through inheritance, hard work, or luck. If it were possible to live simply, with a large amount of money (financial security), and doing what makes you happy, then it can help you *stay* happy, perhaps...but it's not automatic happiness in the form of cash or coin.

Given the choice I'd sooner be unhappy & rich as opposed to unhappy & poor, at least I'd be able to pay the bills which is one less worry.

well money doesnt get everything you want, things that make you happy are not always brought, they are people you love and care for. so no money doesnt make people happy by itself, but it can help as you can buy the essentials and treat yourself to make you feel happy

yes but not all the time.because it is not going to give you any relationship that longs for your life time.money does not stay in your hand always.so it cannot be decided whether money can make a person really happy.
