Honey has many uses, which do you think are the most beneficial? As a substitute for Sugar in Tea & Coffee? Spread on Bread? Used as an Anti-bacteria on cuts and wounds? Used in Baking? How many more can you think of?

I use honey in tea, in oatmeal and cream of wheat, in baking sweets and breads, and sometimes spread on bread. I've never used it for cuts but have heard others do this.

Good points, Thanks. Unfortunately, I am no good at baking, I have tried lots of times to make scones, but they always, always come out like biscuits, no raising at all.

I like having honey for breakfast, as for remedy i did use it very successful as anti-bacterial/ anti-infection but what really amazed me is that it helps healing burns very fast and they don't leave a mark afterwards. it really works like magic for burns :)

Thanks for a good response. I agree, I always use honey on any cut or burn. It works like magic. The very best honey for treatment of wounds is called Manuka honey, bees are kept near manuka trees in New Zealand & Australia. Although it is quite expensive, I just keep it for cuts and wounds, as it does not go off, it will last for years.

In Indian herbal medicine, honey is used along with herbs to cure 100s of ills. It is a perfect anti-septic.

I use it in tea and for sore throats, scrapes, cuts & burns. Honey is a great natural anti-bacterial treatment.

Thanks for your response. Exactly the same as me. Now I am in New Zealand, I can get some more Manuka Honey, which is the best for treating wounds. Problem is, I am going to Australia from here, & they will not allow any Honey products to be brought in. I suppose they are protecting their own industry.
