My daugher got his looks from her grandmother: Why not from us?

Mybe they skip a generation. My eldest son looks like my father and my other son and my daughter look like my husbands mother. My two grandchildren look very much like my husband. I'm afraid I will have to wait some time before I can make any other comparisons.

I know! I find it amazing how the genes carry on.. probably further than we've ever imagined.. I love families! And how the so often resemble each other.. of course I don't think we can always see ourselves so much in our children.. My daughter looks a lot like my sister-in-law, but she has the nose from my side of the family.. from my mother, which I have a bit of too.. but I don't even know where my mom got it.. her dad I think.. but I don't really remember him having it! And it is quite prominent, tho not so much for my daughter and i.. Won't it be something in the 'afterlife' or rather "the kingdom" when all our past, and future, relatives will be there too?

your daughter got his looks from her grandmother, why not from you? its because of the genes maybe your mother in law has a strong blood or genes that the baby acquire so thats it.
