I am using Internet explorer 7.0 for quite sometime now.I have heard of firefox 2.0 and opera 9.0 being more secure. Can anyone please suggest which one is the best option to go if one needs safe browsing.I am ready to compromise on speed though.

I can't say anything about security but i think in ease of use opera is better it has many features of passsword saving ,tabing, and it is comparatively fast than other browsers.

i am using firefox !i begin to use this after i joined mylot!it is simply amazing!i think it is the best browser now available.it is free also easy.here is my review ---easy to use and download plugins.easy to update product.unlike ie which require a genuine advantage checking! ---allow tab browing(though opera and ie7 support tab browsing i like firefox for its simplicity) ---last but not least it has a feature of post data again when connection reset or want a refresh...so dont get irritated about typing again!

Hi, As for security, I would suggest you to use opera, it offers great security feautres like phissing filters, as phissing sites are growing in number these days, it is a great feature aganist password theft, as for as ease of use I would vote for Firefox, Firefox Rules.
