Right now my favorite embellishments are rubons. I simply cannot make a layout without my rubons. My handwriting is crappy so all my journaling are made by rubons!

I don't use them as much and I make sure that there in the like the middle or center never in the corners because that cause the book to be bulky looking you know.

pop outs are cool ,however I tend to think that they take too much space in my album. How do you solve that?

My favorite embellishments would be eyelets and fibers. I especially like to secure vellum with eyelets. Because even when using the vellum tape, you can still see it from underneath.

I totally agree with you. I never use vellum tape. I usually use brads to secure vellum, but eyelets is a thing I should try as well.

For vellum they have these new glue dots. You can't see them, even when you go to put them on your paper. They are invisible. You can check them out at www.giftsforlife.biz , it is a great site and she has tons of order only items like the glue dots and embellishments, paper packs and more.

I want to try something with eyelets on my next page. I have a silent setter, but I've never used it for eyelets. I haven't decided if I want to run the eyelets through with scrapper's floss or not.

Silent Setter are easy to use. But try it out before using it directly on your layout though. I have never tried scrapper's floss. I would really like to try that out.

Me too! I love love rub ons... I use it on every LOs I have. But some rub ons are soooo difficult to rub. It pisses me off when I encounter a rub on like that.

I totally agree with you! I get really angry with those rubons that are hard to rub.

I too love ribbon and fiber. I use them on almost everything even the cards I design. I think it just gives some pages that perfect touch. I also love using brads and eyelets for all sorts of thins. I have even used them to make a letter for the title. There are so many things out there to embellish your pages it is unreal. I have two or three boxes of stuff I thought I would use but still haven't found the right page.

What a great idea to use brads and eyelets for making letters for the title. I will sure try to do that on one of my layouts. Thanks for the tips!

For girly pages, I love using ribbons and flowers, and eyelets. For boyish pages, metal accents, and dark colored ribbons.

at the moment my favourite embellishment would have to be sequins of all shapes and sizes. They are not only pretty but they sparkle, and light up my scrapbook pages, i have them on nearly every page and it looks awesome :)
