Some of the easiest recipes start with a cake mix. Here is another recipe from my friend's collection. INGREDIENTS 1 pkg yellow cake mix 1 cup packed brown sugar 2/3 cup vegetable oil 1/3 cup chopped pecans 4 eggs 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 8-oz container sour cream Powdered Sugar Glace (below) DIRECTIONS: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan, 13, x9,2 inches, with shortening and lightly flour. Make cake mix as directed on package, using oil, eggs and sour cream (omit water). Spread half of batter in pan. Mix brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon; sprinkle over batter in pan. Carefully spread remaining batter evenly over pecan mixture. Bake about 45 minutes or until deep golden brown. Pric* surface of warm cake several times with fork. Drizzle Powdered Sugar Glaze over cake. Run knife around side of pan to loosen cake. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Serves 15. POWDERED SUGAR GLAZE: Stir 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, ½ teaspoon vanilla until smooth enough to pour, adding additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time if necessary.

You always have some good recipes, I really appreciate you sharing them with us! Honey Buns are wonderful, and I love to make cakes...so this is a nice little twist! I'll be making bread and honeybun cake. I was just saying the other day when I was cleaning up the pantry shelf...I have a handful of pecans left over in a bag from making Christmas cookies and such, and this will be a nice way to use them! Thanks again, and keep the recipes coming...I've been using them and really enjoy them!

Do you use metric in your country? I have used recipes that use metric and weights and found a conversion chart to help me with the conversion.
