Do You Lay in Bed thinking of Topics to Post at MyLot in the Morning?

We all know MyLot is addictive. But the last few nights I've caught myself thinking of topics to post in the morning. Anyone else doing the same?

I wouldn't lie in bed purposefully thinking of topics, but occasionally I've found myself thinking of something and thinking that it might be a good idea to post it here. This doesn't just happen in bed. It can happen as I'm driving along or shopping or anything.

I don't do it on purpose either, but it just seems to happen. I do it at other times as well.

I don't know if I have ever done this, since once I started posting more topics I had a few sites that I would go to looking for oddball and wacky news that would inspire me to think of good topics. But I have probably laid in bed thinking about Mylot itself and what I have done there throughout the day, considering how much time I spend here and how much effort I have put into this site in order to earn what I did last month! Whew! *laugh*

I don't when I lay down at night but I do at work. I'll be stoping and writing them down so that I don't forget when I get home. It's very addictive on here. I can totally relate :)

Well Ally, your case isn't quite as bad as my case. You must be careful because this 'disorder' does tend to be progressive in nature. You have the early symptoms, so you must take action so that your case doesn't progress. I, on the other hand, did not take measures to prevent the progression of the disorder and I now have a more severe case. What you can expect should your disorder progress, you will still have the thinking of myLot questions as you initially lay in the bed, however, you will progress to startling from a deep sleep and shouting, "That's it...that will really be a great discussion." Later stages of the disorder, that signify being ill beyond hope will be when you keep a pad and pencil by the bed and record the questions ...lest you forget them by morning!

No, sadly it isn't curable. Luckily, it doesn't have much associated pain either, oh wait, yes it does. Those afflicted have been known to have eye-strain from decreased sleep and long hours at the computer. Back pain is also a frequent complaint, again, from long hours bent over the keyboard. And lastly, hemrrhoids are on the rise from the pressure of being seated for long hours. Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news!

It's the Mylotian Pandemic of Epic proportions. Is it fatal, will it hurt? Tell me crazynurse.....is there a cure. Check out my new post for the mylot support group. We do need one.

Oh you do have it bad AskAlly, and I am told that there is no real cure for myLotitis at the present time. I also heard that it can be contagious and there is also a possibility that it will spread through the world, in fact to all corners of the globe. LOL No, I don't think too much about discussions or topics for discussion when I am not here, but at the same time will admit that I too leave a word file open. If I think of anything then I jot down the points and flesh it out when I get the time. Most of the things come from what I have seen, heard or read and I broaden on that. Now, can I get you anything that might relieve the symptoms of your myLotitis AskAlly? Do you think that chicken soup (home made of course) would help or possibly you think something stronger might be more suitable? Please do let me know if I can do anything, because I really would like to help you my friend. :)

Not only do I lay in bed thinking of topics to create but I also do this while driving to work and on my way home from work as well. Unfortunately by the time I got home or to work, I forgot what I wanted to post on here. :-( Hopefully those thoughts will come back and can post them. myLot is addicting. Sometimes as soon as I turn my computer off, I think of something.

Yeah most often when I was very new to mylot. Now, I do not anymore because I don't start discussions anymore. I think last month I have only started 1 discussion. I know the money is from your started discussions where you get lots of responses. I just run out of topic right now. But what you are saying is true. I think most of us thinks of topics whenever we go and what we are doing. We think this might be a good topic later in mylot to post.

I don't think about it in bed. But I sometimes log on and thing, "I can think of a discussion to post". Occasionally I'm inspired, but usually I tend to spend more time responding to other people's discussions than posting discussions myself.

I don't lie in bed thinking about them, but I do keep a post-it pad handy on my desk. I try not to start more than 2 or 3 topics a day. If I have a couple of topics that are still very active, I won't start any at all. The post-it pad is where I write down ideas as they come to me. When I hit a slow day, I will use a couple of those ideas.

Yes i tend to do that and i get really annoyed with myself because i come up with some of the best ideas just before i fall off to sleep or sometimes even in my dreams, but the next morning i cant seem to remember them. i wanted to keep a piece of paper and a pencil next to my bed but the problem is im an insomniac so if i get up to write my ideas, then it will be a long time before i fall off to sleep

Haha! Yeah! I keep thinking of what topics to post the next time I log in. At times, there are soooooo many things running in my mind, however whenever I log in, maybe because of too much excitement, I forget them all! LoLz. 0=) I guess it would be best to jot those topics down before going to bed just so you don't forget them by the time you're logged in (just like me!).*smiles* myLot is indeed addictive.

Yes I did, I think everyone did aleast once. I usually get most my ideas after I go lay down and my minds relaxing then all kindsof stuff starts poring out and I usually have to hop outta bed and try to write what I remember down.

Definitely NOT in the morning, in the morning I can't function, I'm neither use to man nor beast. I hate the mornings. As for night times, sometimes I lay awake for ages with ideas churning around in my brain, it is so irritating because my brain won't switch off until I've got a few ideas! So now I have to leave pen and paper beside me just in case I get the urge!

I agree but i don't think of the topics but I can't help smiling and een laughing aloud remebering things my friends here say, like gabs , laurie, yanji newadd, daniel and eunic e and so many others. I keep thinking of them and then people start giving me strange looks as I have funny smile playing on my face, lol.

No, I don't. I usually just upload pics and respond to someone else discussion. That's what I do most of the time. I don't start discussion very often. I would really want to put up a lot of discussion as much as I can but it is hard to come up with a good topic that could possibly get a lot of responses. I try myself to upload pictures everyday to just at least earn something if I am lazy to type. I don't complain though even I am just pennies everyday because at least mylot do pay unlike yahoo answers.

I do that all the time -- maybe less now than when I first started, but still if I'm out and about and I think of something that makes me go hmmm... Then usually you'll see it the next day here on mylot.

Mylot is addictive and I catch myself at any time during the day or night when I come across something thinking that this would be a good discussion to bring up on mylot. I wonder what kind of response I would get. I think this is natural considering that is what we are coming here for.
