What is the most dangerous sport in your opinion?

Which sport of all the ones out there is the most dangerous? Why do you feel that way? I would have to say auto racing is the most dangerous sport since they are driving so fast and if one person loses control it can cause a very bad crash which can cause serious injuries or death. There is probably some risk and danger in many sports but auto racing would be my choice.

I have always thought football was the most dangerous until I watched a few games of soccer. I think there are a lot of them like hockey, football, soccer, and now that you mention it car racing. Auto racing has less accidents and deaths than football I think. But think about boxing, people do die or get brain damage from that sport too. This one is too hard for me to say. It would be easier to say the least dangerous sport. LOL

While I agree with you on the speed of the cars in racing. I think rugby is the roughest sport out there. I had no idea till my nephew joined the rugby team at Colgate College. He was a big time football player in high school and he came from a large, rough family. He was tough but when he plays rugby, he has gotten some major broken bones and it is just a rough game.

Well, I would think Nascar aka Auto racing would have to be one of the most dangerous. I would not want to be driving almost 200 miles an hr. and crash. There have been a lot of Serious accidents over the yrs. Even some deaths like when we lost Dale Earnhardt Sr. I am just glad after some of the crashes I seen last yr. that they have improved things a little with the safety. But you know the ones who do it, enjoy the thrill of the danger of this sport, so that is why they continue to do it yr. after yr.

I am inclined to agree with you. Car racing is really dangerous. I also think that football can be a dangerous sport.

I agree with you on that one. I also think that skating on ice would be the other dangerous sport because if you fall you can break your bones. I am always afraid of that sport. I think that is why I never learned how to skate at all.
