Nice to meet people who knows Jogjakarta at mylot...:)
I lived in jogjakarta, and I donot want to move from there.
yes the motorcycle is the dominan transportation, because by bus is expensive and sometime we must change 2-3 the bus, so people choose motorcycle for the cheaper transportation.
I used motorcycle too...:D
Yes justlike other places, their're some specific food at Jogjakarta, and I lived at centra Gudeg Jogja. But I don't like gudeg, too sweet for me. I like kipo and bakpia.
Who else ever visited jogjakarta?

i love kipo, every time i went back home i always by kipo.I also love gruby do you know gruby? sweet taro,so yummy, you said you live in jogja & dont want to move from there but you dont like the sweetnes food how come? thats mean you are not truly jogjanes then like iam, i was bornd & growup in jogja i was there seen 1970 -1989.hehehhee.Jogja is my home, iam jogjanes

I've been to Yogyakarta once. I use the train from Jakarta and stayed in a hotel. I went to the mountain, where I think they called it Kaliarung? Please correct me if I am wrong.
I remember trying sate kelinci (rabbit satay) there and the view of that mountain is unbelievable.
I went to Malioboro, of course. The most famous place in Yogya I believe. Some people say that you have never been to Jogya if you have never been there yet. LOL
At night, the Malioboro street is so amazing. I Ate some lesehan there and then went back to Jakarta after my two exciting holidays in Jogya. I bought myself some silver jewellery as well when I was there. They said apparently the silver handmade jewerelly over there is a very good quality man made.
I miss that place already, after discussing about it now. O, I almost forgot, I also went to Prambanan and Borobudur!!!

hehehehe, i went to kaliurang last month on my uncle B day and on new year eve i was there.we make a party there, cook some RW (u know what RW is ) jagung bakar(grils corn)BBQ fish, BBQ Chiken is so lovely. i just went back teher lst then a month & i miss it all ready.

Right now I live on Yoga, I have already graduated from Industrial engineering at 2005. And I'm still working on some IT consultant at this city. Yogya I think one of the best place that I ever know. It's always being so comfortable right here. There's so many good place to be hang out too. Kaliurang is a great place, especially when I want to eat some fried fish:)

malioboro street and nice n friendy jawa people, big fat becak, gudeg, and sate kelapa
