what type of art do you like

I am trying to spruce up the house a bit and have been looking for some art for the walls. The choice out there are as wide as your pocket book. The prices are outrageous for some and pretty reasonable for others. I wonder what makes the difference in price????? some of the expensive ones look terrible. bottom line is I guess I have to look at it so it should be something that I like and afford. I found that I like landscapes and nature the best. Whats your taste like?

I was on the receiving end of graffiti art on my out building and i was not to apprecaitive of it. I found it disrespectful of my property. I do agree with you about the hidden messages in art, and I do like mark titchner too.

Thats my taste as well. I love all the pictures of deer that I have , I like the pictures of mountains and waterfalls too the colors are just so beautiful.But its like you said you have to look at them. I love flowers but I don't like pictures that are florals,rather have a vase of nice fresh flowers.
