Do you use coupons?

If so where do you get them from? Is it worth the time clipping them or finding them online? I personally use lots of coupons. With my son, I've signed up for coupons from about 9 different companies for things like diapers and formula. I also print coupons off from their websites and various others. And the main reason we get the newspaper every day is for the coupons. I would say on average we save at least $25 a month by using coupons.

Hello carmat! I use www.mycoupons.com it is a great site to shop for coupons, it is like a forum and youc an find all kinds of coupons, you can trade some you have if they want them or pay a low handling fee for the ones you want. I also buy in big amounts from american consumers (pm me if you are interested in that referral link.) or want more info.

Good for you. We don't buy the paper, however, maybe once in a blue moon on Sunday, we'll buy it for the coupons. I receive coupons for diapers and formula from Huggies and Pampers in the mail! :) Which is nice. Otherwise, I don't use much coupons. As far as printing them, we don't have ink for our printer/fax so I don't do that. :(

Isn't it great opening your mail and finding coupons for things you actually really need? How old is your baby? Have you signed up with Gerber? They send some really good coupons. They have coupons for food, bottles, sippy cups, bowls, spoons and forks, clothes, pacifiers, and more.

I clip them out of the newspaper and flyers. I love coupons and couldn't shop without them. I once managed to save almost fifty dollars once using coupons. I knew this guy who was a genius at coupons. He always cut the price of his groceries in half by using them, it was amazing. He spent hours going through newspapers and things, looking for the best ones.

That's awesome. Yesterday we went to the commisary for just a few things. We spent $16 and some change. We save over $5 with coupons and everything else we got was on sale. It was nice. It makes me feel good. That way I can spend the money I saved on clothes or toys for my son. LOL

one of the reasons i would like to move to usa is u'r shopping system. i'm from europe and in my county the shopping system sucks. they don't do discounts for the resonable priced clothes. the only discounts they make are for high priced brand clothes (with the discount they end up costing more than the regular brand clothes). as for the coupons .. i only saw few of them in the national magazines and they can be won during contests and most of them can only be used in the country's capital city.

I usually just print coupons off from the company's website. I get on gerber.com a lot to get coupons for snacks for my son. He loves the freeze dried fruit and vegetables that they have. And right now they have a $1.00 off coupon on two. They are still kind of expensive most places, though. We're lucky, my husband is military so we shop at the commisary. Also on Gerber.com you can sign up to receive coupons in the mail for things like food (I know you are probably past that stage), bottles, sippy cups, clothes, bowls, eating utensils, gas relief drops, and more. If you use A&D diaper cream there is a $1 off coupon on myadbaby.com right now. It's good for any of their creams, not just the original. Also, if you use brand name disposable diapers you can go to Pampers.com and Huggies.com and they will both send you coupons and samples in the mail. I know it's cheaper to just use store brands but my son is too tall and thin. Store brands tend to be too short and cause a lot of leaking. So Huggies and Pampers coupons are great! They are usually $1.50 or more. And on juicyjuice.com you can sign up to recieve their magazine. There are coupons in it plus some really good information. I hope these help you and anyone else who needs coupons for toddlers!

Oh yes I use coupons all the time. I get the sunday paper every week just for the coupons and I also print them off of the computer. My husband used to make fun of me for doing it but after shopping with me a few times he likes the idea and even helps me clip them out. I have saved so much money with coupons. I have a coupon pouch that I carry in my purse so that I have them on me all the time.

Coupons! $$$$ - coupons
I've been using coupons for years. I belong to several coupon trading clubs and my biggest monthly savings was in 2001 when we saved $102.98 grocery shopping with the coupons I amassed from the internet, the clubs and from newspapers and magazines. LOVE 'EM!

I've heard a lot of people getting coupons for formula and diapers, and you can get them online. I don't use those because I don't have children lol. But I do like to use coupons on other things. I dye my hair and usually one of my magazines has a coupon for $3 off the dye I use so that helps. Magazines also have coupons for clothing stores, like $5 off a purchase of $25 or more. Those have also come in handy. But I'm sure with groceries and stuff they are also very nice!

I do not normally use coupons unless I have one that is for a large amount off or a really good deal and it's for something I know I buy all the time - otherwise, I clip them and then forget so I just stopped clipping them at all. I really need to get back into using coupons though because I know they can save you alot of money. Right now, I shop at Ralph's (Kroger in some states) and I'm on their mailing list for coupons and deals. They send out a little magazine each month with recipes and coupons and they also send out little coupon packs with items specialized for me based on what I normally buy from them. (they get the info from my rewards type card). My brother is a huge coupon person and he often pays very little for his groceries because of all the coupons and shopping around for deals that he does. I wish I could do that too!

Hey carlaabt!!! I know a lot of the commissaries allow you to use expired coupons up to 6 months old? Can you? If so pm me and I'll send you all my expireds!!!!! I use coupons regularly! I don't go shopping without them. I have to compare the coupons to weekly sales and that is how I shop and then our meals are planned around all that.

I didn't know that about commissaries. I will have to check and see. We've been throwing away the ones we don't use before they expire. Thanks for the tip! I'll ask next time I go.
