Falling in-love on-line?

When someone tells me that they're falling in-love with an on-line friend whom they haven't met, I always thought "O c'mon!" Why? Coz for me, you can't love a person you haven't met personally. You don't even know if what they're saying is true and sincere. Unless you'll meet them personally.
Another thing is authenticating one's identity. How do you know whether the person is really what he says he is? Sometimes exaggeration occurs just to make a favorable impression to other people. You see, you cannot trust everybody on-line.
I'm not against with these people, I just want to remind them to be careful and no to take these on-line relationships very seiously. Coz you'll never know what might happen.
I hope no one gets offended with what I've said, it's just my own point of view, you have yours, so better say it. :)

how can some one fall in love online? i have a friend who tells all rubbish about himself and lol this girl falls in live with him and they start regular chatting and even calling each other my question is whats the point in having such a relation were you don't know each other and most often haven't seen each other..........i have even seen these online dating converted into marriage but do you thing it might be a happy life life fot at one point or the other it will be discovered

That's one thing that bothers me, how come an on-line relationship led to marriage? Hmm.. Well, I guess that's what we call love.

What you said is right and true. The biggest problem is that you really do not know who is at the other end. You must meet someone, get to know them, and then you can fall in love.

Absolutely. :) And it's hard to trust someone you haven't met.
