How would you feel if after exchanging 10 emails with a man

he talks about marrying you and your future? I am looking for love online but when they are going too fast, I do worry. I would think that perhaps this guy will marry me and insure me and my kids and kill us, or something like that. Do you think it's normal? Do you think someone would really be serious? Any tips on what I should do about these type of men? Thanks.

Like you said, this guy could be a psycho, or he may just be really lonely (or deperate)and not had much experience with relationships, so is rushing things because he wants to keep your interest. Either way, he certainly seem a little "off." I would step back a little and tell him that 10 emails does not a marriage make; if he gets this and acknowledges he got carried away, he may be all right; if he gets really upset and doesn't back off, dump him, pronto!

Even if you have exchanged ten times more than that,
you should not let yourself get carried away at once.
Remember that it is not only you being involve in this relationship but your kids as well. Consider knowing his
marital status also, if he also have kids like you, and
ask him pictures, then talk to him on the phone several times
.... then decide from there if you find him deserving for
your precious love.
