It once again proved that the indian cricket team is a Tiger in their home grounds but a rat in the foreign pitches. Will the same team if the match is played in other country might have won?

Let the world cup decide this matter only a couple of months time before go back to West indies and look for how our team plays.

yeah we are tigers in home ground. the problem is that we dont have bouncy and pace tracks as that other countries.that is the reason for lose in away.

most of the curators are favouring the home team.it should be avoided if we want to have real competition.

I think there is no dearth of talent in the Indian cricket team. Every Ponting and Gilchrist could be matched with Sachin and Dhoni, or rated even better. What India lacks is the attitude and the killer instinct. Look at the Australians, they don't panic even if they are at a situation like 30/5 but take India they would end up something like 100 odd runs from that position. So we need to build up right attitude and guidance if we need to win the world cup

if the top order fails the tail enders and middle orders start to panic and follow the openers like a procession.

i think it would nt have mattered at all ,as not only indian team but all the teams with strong batting line up are tiger in india ,as the one day pitches here quite always batting tracks and full of runs ,but on foriegn pitches india has performed decently evrywhere except south africa, the pitch thing matters mostly in test cricket ,fro one day international u have batting tracks almost every where in da world

The Indian team is made up of some of the greatest players, and most, if not all of them are gentlemen on the field in and out of their country, quite unlike some of the other teams who sledge and bully their way to victory. In their own country they have the solace of strong supporters who want them to win, outside India, they only get brickbats, and that would dishearten anybody.

Yes, the team is capable of winnning outside. But they may not be as successful as they are in their homegrounds. This true for all the countries as well
