Have you already found out the real reason of your existence?

We all know that everything happens for a reason. But one thing that is really puzzling is finding out the reason why you were born. Why are we here? What is our reason to be here? What is our purpose? It's funny that we just wake up everyday, do our own thing. Go through life's daily routine as if it's a normal thing to do. But why do we do it?

Being a Christian, I believe that the reason of my existence is to give glory to God in whatever I do, and do the best I can to live my life to the fullest.

Thanks for your comment. There's this book that I've read entitled The Purpose Driven Life and it is a very inspirational book. It says there that a maker creates something which will serve him a purpose...which we all know that it is a something that would serve him well. So I think what you'd like to say is that we're created in order to serve God. And that in your little means, do something that will give glory to Him. An I somehow correct?

Well, it's a nice thought. But if that is the case...I still want to know my other purposes. God for sure, did not just let us live just for him...that would be too selfish. And if ever that is the case, then I guess I'll just have to accept it then. But I believe that God is good and therefore, he has other plans for me. Now, I want to know my other purposes.

I think I have finally found mine. I have always wondered, but now I am older and have done just about anything I desired to do. I think my purpose was to learn to be a good person, to learn to LOVE others, to learn to cope with problems in a good way, to learn to help others and most of all to give birth to and teach a child. Good luck on your adventure of dicovering your purpose. We all have one and it is not always so easy to find it.

That's a nice reason for your existence. But I believe that all of us have different purposes. I'm glad you have found yours. As for me, I've just have to keep on searching. (^_^)

I think my purpose was to be a mom to my 3 girls. They have become my purpose in life & the reason why I continue to carry on.

Waaaaah! I still don't know why im here for, i think life is a continous search for it's purpose. every inch of a day it's like repeating what we always do. we keep doing what we need to do. maybe that's the mystery of life.

I agree with you bro, too bad, you'll first have to die in order for you to figure it out and let God tell you himself. lol...(^_^)

Not yet and I doubt I ever will to. I am trying to get spiritual guidance but nothing seem to work for me in that area.

Well, we are just the same then. I am also in search of the reason why I'm here.
