is chat on the net really important

Hello the very several times i tried using yahoo messenger to chat on the net was not a wonderful experience. Most of the people out there are ready to get one thing or the orther frome you. The worst of all are the pornographic invites that are posted to you. I really did not gain anything using yahoo messenger.

you cannot generalize the statement as you have encountered a bitter experience.Same will not be the case with everyone.for example i have friends who are so dearer to me and became so close to me and i met them through chat.
