I think race doesn't matter, as long as the feeling is mutual and there's love...it really doesn't matter.

There is no problem with me whether my date is of my race or others. As long as I felt the same way, our feelings are mutual and LOVE co-exist... No problem at all... 8)

yes, my husband and i were in the same race... for me, it is better to date someone in your race so that you already know your style

I know! I think being in the same race is easier since everything is the same and there would be no issues in regards to religion, etc.

It depends and varies from person to person. Each person will have their own set of principles in thier mind. I do think it matters because every race has its own habbits in prayer, behavior, food, clothes etc. So i feel it's better to marry from your own race in order to adjust with your partner and lead a happy and comfortable life. Because this love and mutual feelings are only till you marry, but adjustment and all starts after your marriage.

Yup! I also think it depends on the person but difference of color should not be a hindrance in dating someone from outside. I think dating within same race is easier though.

I would date someone outside of my race, but I haven't yet. I have never met anybody outside of my race that I have been attracted to yet, but I'd be willing to give it a try if I did.

I guess it greatly depends whether you like the person or not. For me the personality of the person transcends race. As long as I enjoy the company of that person then why should we be hindered by racial issues. I guess what matters the most is mutual respect among partners to accept each other in an open-minded way. If we just do that, bet we could learn much more from each other and it would make the relationship even more interesting.

Race doesn't matter to me. I use to think that races should stay with races, but I have meet some interesting people of different races, and color wasn't a factor as far as what I thought of them. So yes I would probably date someone of a different race.

For me it would take me a little while to get past it. We'd have to be good friends first. Race isn't an issue to me, but I'd have to be 100% comfortable with it before I could act on any kind of attraction.
