Is mylot earning based on your ratings?

Well i do think that the rating does affects the earnings or it might be a way to distinguish between the members who post quality discussions and the members who dont post quality discussions..... It is possible that your rating may decrease... This will happen if members rate your discussions as negative however if your discussions are rated as positive or if your discussion is marked as a best response your rating will definately increase... My rating hasnt reduced but i have come accross discussions where members have complained about their ratings changing and reducing.... Have Fun !!!! Cheers!!!!!!

According to mylot your star rating will not affect your earnings, they further explained that the star rating is a users reputation to the community. It means that if a person contributes more quality topics and response he/she will more likely to receive a high star rating. In my opinion and based on what i have experience, the star rating affects in a way to my earning. I always respond to the same number of topics everyday +/- two topics. I have noticed that having a high star rating tend to increase my earning, almost double than normal. I have recently experience a decreased in my rating by 1 for some reasons that i don't have a clue about. After the decreased, i experience a sudden dropped in my earnings, mind you that im always responding to the same number of topics everyday. That went on for three days, i work hard to gain my rating back and on the fourth day i succeded in increasing it. The following morning my earnings when up as i expeted it. If you have experience a fluctuation in your star rating i know that you have noticed this too.

what i have read from my alerts message that rating has given how much u have active in a mylot it doesnot affect the earning .

I am not sure and i have certainly earned much more than when i was in 4 ranking than i am now so i guess it should be related though i cant propose any exact association as it would be against mylot rules!

nope rating has got nothing to do with how much a user earns everyday here in mylot,.the star rating is just the reputation that mylot community gives to the member,.it does not mean that the higher the star rating the higher the earning,no!,.your earning depends on the quality of the post you make or the quality of the reply or comments that u give,..

Nope. I think it wont affect. Its just how members rate other members. My rating never decreased.

For me, I seem to have had an increase in earnings from before the star ratings were introduced. However, mine fell for a couple of days because i think i must have inadvertantly upset someone, lol. Yet my earnings did not fall, and my star rating came back up after a few days. I think it helps to have a higher star rating, it seems that we get them as a result of the number of plus ratings we get for our responses and the number of best answers we get when entering discussions. I think getting plusses and best answers gives you higher earnings so indirectly having a high star rating may well increase your earnings because it means you have more plus ratings to your topics. I am still at 7. No increase/decrease so far. I have observed that someone here have increased his/her rating. No one has informed about decrease in rating. The rating may affect the earning, it is sure. Because our earning is based on quality posts only and our rating here reflects how we are good at quality.

i dont think so, i dont thinkthat we get any award for our ratings at all, i think they are just there to show how many positive responses we got in a day, as previously there was no way to learn that. So just keep posting good

As per alert message from Mylot Moderators. the rating doesnt affect the members earnings in anyway.

I am now an official 10 and proud to be. However i do not think that being a 10 has increased my earnings in anyway. I think it is more like a thing of stature rather than to earn more. Everyones star rating can decrease if the quality of their posts need to be decreased!!

I do not think that your mylor earning is based on your ratings. I think rating is just another thing we have like users that tell about us the activity we have on this site related to the discussions and the answers we give.

mylot earnings is based on your ratings because it is the content of your discussion that mylot will rate and your friends also will rate you as well.
