How to sell photos

Godfreys Beach, Stanley, Tasmania, Australia - This is one of two beaches divided by the small hamlet of Stanley. Tasmania is the island state of Australia and Stanley is in the north west of the state. It is a beautiful historic place. The shot was taken while I was in a chair lift which takes on up to the top of a rocky outcrop which dominates early Stanley. The outcrop is called The Nut and was first sighted by Matthew Flinders an early explorer.

Is there any one out there who can advise on a web site where I might be able to sell photos. I love photograhy and also the history of this beautiful part of the world I live in. I travel, take photos and sometimes write about the location. Please check out my photo..

You can also try http://www.si-mi.com they do both photos and videos. Also http://www.lulu.com - you can put together and sell photobooks, calendars and images there.

As stated by the person above, a few of these websites exist. There are for example Big Stock Photo, iStock Photo, Fotofolia, Dreamstime, Can Stock Photo and a few others... Please use my referral link if you're considering signing up to Big Stock Photo. http://www.bigstockphoto.com/?refid=MTy8diS6cM

try bigstockphoto.com or shutterstock.com They accept any clear photo but I suspect that only the really pro-looking 'arty' shots get used a lot. Check out the sites and their pages should tell you everything you need to know.
