Dealing with MANIACS lurking on the streets..

With rape and other criminal activities happening on streets. Are women now more aware on dealing with this ciminal acts? How do you deal with this such things? Do you know how to protect yourselves? Any weapon or strategy on avoiding being a victim?

prevention is better than cure. so women like me should always be alert and on guard for any untoward incidents. i for one study at night and i return home at around 10pm. its during this time when the menace of society lurk and look for preys. here are some of the things i practice to avoid being a victim of crime:
1. i stay away from dim areas.
2. i always bring a flashlight with me, just incase their is an electric shortage.
3. i also bring pointed things like my ballpen
4. i stay vigilant and alert for any suspicious behavior of people.
5. i dont show my cellphone or my wallet when walking.
these are a few of the things that i personally do to avoid being a victim of crimes.
