Please explain: "Has not the potter authority of the clay to make out of the same lump of clay a vessel which is indeed into honor and that which into dishonor?" (Romans 9:21)

The potter uses clay to make pots. Whatever the potter decides to do with the clay, either to make beautiful or ugly pots, he could do it and the clay could not complain. God is our Potter, of course we are the clay. In fact God created Adam the first man from dust which is clay. As we are just the creation of God, we have to be subservient to God. We have no right to complain, we should obey what God wants us to do.

From the same clay, the potter can do as many kinds as he wishes and he is free to make one beautiful and others ugly. The clay cannot complain. Such as God and men. We cannot do anything if that's what God wants.

It's up for the potter to do whatever he wants with his clay; who could complain? And thus God can do whatever He wants to His creation. How could we complain?
