I got a virus from Mylot!

ye i got a virus from here the otherday even managed to get past my virus software wiped out my whole harddrive

No. not me. But I don't visit many people's profiles on here. I don't intend to get to know people on here. I prefer myspace and thankthetroops.net to get to know people, since they usually use their own pictures. :) Do you visit a lot of members profiles? :)

I have not gotten one from here. Maybe I am just very lucky or have not visited the same page you did.

NO, I never experience it, I think you can report it to admin to warn the member, or the other will suffer from it. I hate some people do that insert virus on the page, I found mylot is very cleaning, and I never worry about it. I don't want to be affected, it make me crazy if I got it.

yes i have noticed it.But i am shoure none of them had virus on their pages.I think mylot should take care of that.

I have not run across this but do not think I would know it if I did. Could you report this to mylot? I'm sure they want to know.

Ohhhhhh. Its a bad news but it never happened with me on mylot but i seldom open sites which people give me here. MyLot is a real paying site and is n't spreading virus and i like it as i've got my money thrice of times from it. Its n't a scam site but u know that good and bad people r present everywhere and i am really shocked to listen such news from u.

I recently had a virus, but it was deleted by avg. so I can't trace where it came from. It might of happened after i checked a profile from a person asking for mechanical help. He or she had no avatar pic, no interests and 0 discussions. I don't respond unless i trust a profile now. Take care Myarticlemalldotcom.

Some people have no respect for others property. We see it time and time again. It is sad. I haven't come acrossed it here at mylot, you did the right thing in reporting it thank you. That is most likely why most of us haven't had a problem with it. Thank you.

Well not sure if it's the person's fault. it could be something someone uploaded into the comment area or a script they are running from another page. They might not have known there was a virus in it. Virus' can be hidden in most anything so it's always good to have an anti-virus program running. And it's very good to report it to mylot so that way they can get it fixed.

Can you let MyLot know and also let us know whose profile you were looking at so that we don't access the same one? Thanks.

That's awful! I can't believe people on here would do things like that! I fortunately haven't had that happen to me so far, so I hope it never does. I don't usually visit people's profile pages all that often, so I guess that's why I haven't come across anything like that before. Thanks for the warning, now I'll definitely be really careful on here!

The only thing I have ever gotten was a phishing alert, telling me that a post was going to be redirecting me to a fake site. Other than that, not too much. Course then again, I don't go into many profiles.

There is a new virus that has been popping up on my computer about 6-8 times every hour I spend on mylots. My virus protection catches it and quarantines it, but this has just started happening in the last week or so. It is TROJ_AGENT.RAT

I can't believe that could happen. I think it might be some useless Javascript just to scare off others. Why do people do such damn things anyways? You should better report this to the myLot authorities.

I have not come accross what virus does u got and which antivirus software are u using

I don't think I have virus ,my system is operating in the usual mode.
