guys which one should i install windows or Linux

guys i have bought a pc and want to install operating system can u help me out which one should i install whether windows or Linux

its depend on your need. if you want a good desktop u can use windows xp, there are many software company support this OS, like adobe and other gaming developer. but if you need a server application like apache php etc. u can use linux. it is very powerful for server

Try windows xp ,, its easy to use, very user friendly. I have not used Linux, so dont know much about it..

y dnt u install both ? just partition ur hgard-drive so tht u get a little space ffor linux, & all the rest for windows....i hav both on my laptop, but i never use the linux these days....windows rox !! its so compatible wit everythin, music,games,surfing & what not !! linux is good for programming mainly...so jut like keep 5GB of space for linux, & all the rest for windows :) get the new windows vista !! ultimate® :D :)

it depends of what you want to do whith your computer! but you can do like me!you can install Windows and Linux in your computer at the same time!when you boot you choice what OS you want to run and Voila! i recomend Windows XP pro and Linux Sabayon(it have Beryl instaled for default) or Linux Mandriva, those linux distros are very easy and friendly to use!!

it depends upon ur usage and the softwares u wanna use on yo8ur computer and at the same time the operating system should be compatible with ur computer or laptop ,the best thing is to go to software enginner and take his advice

linux it's a good sistem, and you can get it for free, now he got a lot of support for drivers, and you can try it by a live cd without install it, with this cd you can also recover your pc if he got a problem, if you got space on your HD i suggest you to install both, linux and windows, so you can test by yourself, i suggest UBUNTU linux, cause it's the most simple to install ;)

If you know LINUX to use, then best to use Linux if dont then use XP you dont need to learn it. its a fool way to use PC.

I recommend windows and I think over 60% of the whole world uses windows.
