I understand where you are coming from. I can't say too much about them, because i use to be one. I worked for a telemarketing company part time, for a year. That way i could get some extra money for bills. You can answer the phone and tell them to put you on the "Do not call list!!!" that way they'll stop calling you. Also you can call this number... 1-888-382-1222 It's an automated system, and a do not call list. it will be very helpful. i used it and i haven't gotten any calls since. good luck!!!

thanks for the information. I know I had filled out a form somewhere online for the do not call list, but when I moved and got a new number, I forgot all about the Do not call option.

I am no stranger to all the cranky telesale calls. I have been a victim of circumstances. Everytime there is a new product, somehow, they have my number. The worst calls are often the credit card telemarketeers. I remember on many occasions, the same bank where I have a credit card with, would call me up to register for the very same cards again. I try to remain calm and patience most of the time. Then I'd tell them not to bother me again.

I do and I make it a point at the beginning to tell them I'm not in the market for anything new and I end the conversation. I still find the calls annoying but I think it's better to let them no from the get go that I'm not interested as polite as possible. If they are not getting it, I just say goodbye and thank you for your time and hang up the phone.
