Although Chet Atkins died in June 2001 his legacy & name will live on for many years to come. Back in the early 70's Baldwin took over Gretsch guitars & Chet moved to Gibson as the quality of Gretsch was below par & he didn't want his name on them any longer. But now some 30 years later, I'm pleased to announce that the Chet Atkins name is back with Gretsch. The entire range of Gretsch guitars that Chet originally endorsed are back in all their glory.
