When my second son was 2 months old, i found out i had a large, rare and deadly brain tumor. I spent much of that precious first year not with him, but away, in a hospital..And to him, my little Bugga-Boo, i dedicate this poem i wrote: My little Boo Why's this life so cruel to you you came, you are, and you will be Yet precious time i lost to thee The sparkle deep within your eyes Far beyond your years so wise The sun that glows upon your hair on days of cloud still no despair Your cherub smile and little arms Hugs so big that know no harm But harm is what I'm guilty of For not was I initial love Away i went hospital be When close to you You didn't see I'm so sorry my little one To a mother's love you could not run With open arms and find me there That hollow need That space so bare I dreampt of you from my sterile bed Your eyes so blue i could not shed That fact i was so far away I saw you giggle laugh and play Within my dreams I held so tight when home i'd come and make it right For an infant's cry to a mother gone This world so cruel you needn't long I should have been there where you belonged Within my arms for that i longed Just to hold you very tight To not have missed that morning light For dawn has broke arose and set First precious moments i'll never get ..back

i simply love to write poems. i've been writing them since my childhood when i was only 8 or 9 years old. today i have lot of good collection of them but all of them are written in my diary. i dont have them on any website or forum.

I write poerty ocasionally, though that is in swedish so you wouldn't understand it...

Here is a poem for you since you like to read them. I wrote this in 1998. A warm and gentle breeze does blow. Beckoning to your weary soul. Come. Leave your cares behind. Seek the peace you hope to find. Hush now. Be silent. Be still. Close your eyes and you will feel A touch from God.

I write poetry, i belong to a few writing communities. I also own my own community/ website aimed at helping writers which i very much enjoy running + reading whats posted. It's not just for poetry but anything artistic. :) ~Joey
