Hello. I'm not sure exactly what this discussion is totally relating to but I would like to respond to it my friend because you askedfor some replies to it. I think rednecks get a bad wrap also. I don't think you did wrong by stating facts or opinions.

I have had one discussion on my board from the first day and it was very difficult to get rid of so I did like you only I wrote to a friend and asked them to respond. I am also wonder if you are aware that the term redneck comes from the south in the states, and referred to the poor farmers that were out in the blazing sun all day every day rather than sitting in the cool shade and letting all the slaves Wait hand and foot on you. To me the term is very derogatory, and it is a slur on working people. but perhaps you were already knew that, there are a million redneck jokes, but there also a million jokes about the Jewish community the gay community etc but that doesn't make it good.

From this discussion I gather that on your first day you tried to copy and paste an idea, and found that you could not. It was asking about redneck culture.Or rather, offering to refer us to some links regarding redneck culture. Mostly where I come from, the term redneck is used in a joking, and derogatory manner. I would be interested in those links now, as one of your other responders told the history of the term, and that was new to me.

Oh my but you are brave, I blush just thinking of my first day, and then I want to burst out laughing and then go into a hysterical cry! You were one of my first friends and one that always responded spot on. Can you remember the flag you designed, and flipped out because the pole was to expensive. I spent frigging hours designing something for you that you've never seen because my pictures just landed up all over the show. Well at least we matured but my pictures still lands up at the most awkward places! A potty training pic will land up in a religious discussion.lol!!! Some things never changed here on MyLot. now that you have 4288 discussions and you can copy-paste, I would like to see the sites you mentioned here. It's really interesting, knowing about different cultures... I can only give you information about argentinians, altough I'm not sure how objective that would be!! =)

I also had gotten a slanted version of rednecks as being bad apples all around. nice to know Iam mistaken at least in Alabama.
