Proof of direct lineal descent to a hero of the alamo.

How do you proof direct lineal descent to a hero of the alamo? I have no documentation and need this for membership to The Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Find legal records of your parents, grandparents, and so on at courthouses, family history centers, libraries, etc. The Alamo was fairly recent history, so if your ancestor was there you should be able to get proof of lineage fairly easy. Good Luck!
