Is it really impossible to forget someone?

I had one friend who was really nice. we had ery good time together. But recently that person has started avoiding me. I want to forget him as it really hurts me now when i remember those good old times. But i have heard that if you want to forget someone, you end up remembering him more. is it true?Is it really impossible to forget someone?

The question is, why does he avoiding you? Because the more you wonder about the memories of the good old times in the past, and wondering why on earth he has to avoid you now, the more he sticks in your mind. At least if you know the reason and by accepting it, you can acknowledge the reason and it will be easier to forget him. Because only by accepting you can let go.

you cant say that it is impossible to forget someone ... but the fact prevails that if you keep on thinking that you want to forget him/her then certainly you would end up remembering him more. the best way to forget is to keep yourself busy with other things so that you dont think of him
