MyLot numbering

I would like to see MyLot put a second number besides the rating of the person who put the discussion forward.I would like to see the number of the person when they actually put the discussion in.I think that way we can watch how the growth of the quality of the discussions started by individuals.
As an example,here it would be lonewolfnan(1038)(1038) and people would see when in my developement I asked this question.

Why would that be of use? It would not change the topic. You may think it was a kind dumb one and they only had the (7) by the discussion then I might think oh well they were new but it would not influence my response.

I would like to see the developement of myself and others on MyLot in terms of the quality of the discussions.So therefore,I guess it is only for my personal use.
I do believe it would also weed out people who are using/abusing the program.

That is a very interesting thought of having a second number in there. I think that sounds like a good idea or have the second number show how many quality discussions the person has created so people can get an idea of who creates qualities discussions and who does not. You should try recommending that idea to myLot and see how they feel about it.

I think all the numbers are a big mess on this site. There should maybe be some ranking but should not really influence too much. The point im trying to get across is that this site is not about how many posts one can do, but to express opinions and points of veiws and provide quality information for others. What good does it do if people spam to achieve a higher post rank when it means nothing. The number should not restrict users from being able to copy and paste, as I obviously have to wait until 500 posts, and it is a pain in the butt to site information from other websites. That is another thing i beleive they should change.

Spamming and scamming are two major problems for any program like this and with the help of the honest members,I think Mylot will be able to control it to a degree.
Right now,I see the numbers mean just how much an effort someone is putting into the program(admittedly not he quality of the effort) and can be influenced tremendously.
One thing about the two nuber system is that it would make spammers and sacnners stick out as if they are still putting out the same low quality discussions at 1000 as they did at 25,then there is a good indication of a problem.
