I have been trying for a while but I cant get past the part where it says ...To secure a position of________ I don't know what to put there exactly. I just want to give it to some part time jobs around town like general office work, taking care of senior citizens, sales, assistant counselor/teacher. So what do I put in that first line?

I never put a specific title on my resume - I save that for the cover letter. Here's what I put for my objective: To secure a position in which I am able to utilize my training, experience, and communicative skills. The resume does almost all of the the rest of it and then the cover letter completes the whole package! It's always worked for me. This way I only have to remember to change the cover letter when I send it somewhere, instead of the resume and the cover letter. The less I have to remember, the better off I am.

I do have a resume and i dont have the objective at the top.. have my name and address at the top left then I goto computer skills, qualifications education and work experience you dont have to have an objective you dont wish to but try something along the lines of looking for a position where i can better my skills and knowledge. then you can apply to diffrent places with one resume or you can just leave that word blank and print a resume as needed and fill it in pertaining to that job
