Do you donate in the name of God?

Donating is very common nowadays.Some donate to charitable institutions. Others, choose to donate in the name of God. What about you. And why do you do it?

I pay my tiding to my church. 10% of my wages.

I don't attend church or anything of the sort. No disrespect to anyone who does, but it's just not something I believe in.

I am a servant of God. God has everything as He owns the world. What He wants us to do is to worship Him. One way to worship Him is giving, giving to our church which is the group of believers and not church as the building, giving to others, giving ourselves to God, and all such giving should come from our hearts. I am a servant of God and so I help people in whatever way I can because God is generous to the righteous as well as the unrighteous but God would not appear to anyone and give to him anything. It is people who gives to people to do the will of God.
