if given a chance... do you want your given name to be changed into what you really want or are you contented enough to leave it as is??? if you want to change it, what name would you rather have?? well honestly, i really dont like my name because it is so simple... my real name is marjorie.. i only have one name.. and i envy those people who have two names or more... actually i want my name to be Ella Louise... ahihi... coz for me its so nice to hear the two being combined...^^

I used to hate being stuck with such a common name as Sue. I don't mind it anymore though. It's comfortable, easy and truly fits my simple personality. I guess my parents knew what they were doing when they named me afterall. :)

Every so often, I'll really like a name, and want to change my name to it. At the minute, I like 'Tuesday' and 'Ember'. I'm not sure why, I just think they're more interesting that my given name. It is possible to change your name in the UK by deed poll, but I don't think I've ever go do that, mainly because everyone you know will still call you by your real name.

I had the chance to change my name a few years ago. I had gotten divorced many years ago and decided recently to go back to using my maiden name. I was seriously thinking about changing the order of my name - put my first name in the middle and my middle name first. Then I thought that my mom might be hurt because she picked the order of my names to begin with so I kept it the same. I don't use my first name much, everyone calls me by my middle name.

I would like to choose to live with my given name in my life time...I think name is just a code. If I am a good guy with a bad name, people would not discriminate me. If I am a bad guy with a good name, people would still step away from me..^_^.. Of course, a good name give others good feelings... But it depends on you own will if you would like to change your name...

well, in india changing name is permissible. u may hav to file the same in the local court and publish the same in a leading news paper . the procedure is simple. but the big question is - is it required to change the name . if i hav been given a chance to change i will change to sreen from srinivasan since my wife is calling me as sreen and she love this name

I like my name, but I get frustrated often with it because my real name is Mary Katherine, but my name my parents and friends called me all throughout primary school was Katie. When I got to college, my professors went by the name that I registered for school with, which was my full name. It was irritating, because I was used to being called Katie, but now all my professors and new classmates referred to me as Mary Katherine. Also, when I got a job, on my application was Mary Katherine, so that it what my co-workers call me. They started calling me that, and it's just difficult to change back to being called Katie. So now half of the people in my life call me Katie, the other half call me Mary Katherine.

hi there.. im fine with my name, i liked it too, because its sounds so american LOL^_^ and i have two names too..( sorry i can't say it here) i guess marjorie is fine, is your nickname marj? i guess we really have no choice with the kind of names our parents gave us.. at least they bother to give us nice names, rather than having that usual name BABY.. just imagine having that kind of name until you get old and gray^_^ just a thought.. and then i think now you will have the option of giving out the name that you want for your future childresn, might as well save that in the future.. thanks a bunch^_^

When I was a teenager, I always wished that I had a different first name but as an adult I like my name just fine. My Mom loved horses when she was growing up and read horse books all the time. One of the books was called Shannon and she liked the name so much, she decided to name me that.

I also only have two names, a first name and a last name. I would leave them as it is, because it's original and I have never met anybody else with the same name! =D My name is slavena, it's a ukranian name. I also chose to only give my daughter a first name and a last name - no middle names. I just don't see the need for it, and no one else in my family has a middle name soo..

when i was younger i hated my name, i thought it was really boring. but i've now had it for nearly 26 years, it would be weird being called something else!
