I Hate My Neighbor Dogs.Do i shoot the dogs with bb gun?

Don't shoot the dogs. It's not their fault. You call the police and report the dogs showing agression and biting you. The ASPCA will get involved and will insist that the dogs remain on a leash or the owner must put up a fence. Additionally, they will get fined when the ASPCA comes back to inspect the situation and finds the owners have not complied. On the third visit, they will take the owner into custody and the dogs will go to a kennel until everything is resolved. Don't be afraid or hesitate to pick up the phone and call the police. You are living in fear of dog attack and you don't have to. Most neighborhoods have a leash law and the dogs MUST be on a leash if they are not in a fenced in yard. You will find out soon enough if your neighborhood also has this law. Remember, you are also protecting the dogs from harm by calling. Good luck to you.

Well in California and South Carolina there is a leash law. If they come in your yard shot them in the rump that way sharp sting. Try an airgun even. It doesn't mean you don't love animals or being cruel. You are protecting and you said they try to bite you. Have you tried calling animal control? I know you said they would be back in the house before they could get out there but if you call a few times. Take pictures and if you have a video camera.

the dogs here are just victims of irresponsible dog owners. i believe that these dogs behavior speak how they are mishandled but their owners. i suggest that you do not harm the dogs for you could even get into trouble for doing that. what you should do however is to talk with your neighbors about the bad situation you are in. if they would not heed your complaint then you call the authorities, you have every right to do so because these dogs are trespassing your property however do not impose anything by yourself.

The dogs sense you don't like them. Call the police and tell them you feel threatened and are a prisoner in your own home. If you have a legitimate complaint and are not just a habitual complainer they may do something about it. If you were to shoot my dogs then you would never come out because I would shoot you. Chin up maybe they'll get a kitten instead.

YES I HATE TO have some one dog run around in my yard poop in my yard i run them out. CALL amimals control, an tell them even thow they are not out. or your police tell them you dont need to put up with it,i have 4 puppy dogs i love like family. an when i let them out i make them stay in my yard.

I wouldnt shoot them that would be just cruel.i would talk to your neighbors again and if that dont work i would call animal control and explain the situation to them they should be able to do something about this.

You could get into truble with the BB, I had a friend who did this he had a tree stump in the yar put 2 nails in it attached a wire to each one, then placed a piece of ham on the stump, when the neighbors dog cam into her yard to do his business, saw the ham went to eat it she pluged in the plug,and quickly pulled it out (it just enough to zap the dog not kill it dog did go near her yard again

try to call the police,pound but don't shoot them.i don't know why are they trying to bite you but they don't deserve to be shoot.if the owners won't quit you should go to the police,or make an effort to put yourself a fence,that way no one could enter in your yard.good luck with them,you will needed.if u shoot the dogs u will get to jail and it's not good

I had a similar problem, I called animal control and they said unless you have proof we can't do anything. Well I busted out the ol' camcorder and digi camera I took picture and video of the dogs in my yard, chasing people on bikes, chasing cars and acting aggresive towards my son. That was all they needed, the owners were fined and the dogs removed.

Your neighbors are so insensitive, even obnoxious. They know their dogs are disturbing your peace and they haven't done anything about it? I was in a similar situation before, when my neighbor's dog would always bark in the middle of the night for hours. I really couldn't sleep so I talked to my neighbor. Luckily, he understood so he gave the dog away to a relative. I can't blame you if you want to shoot those dogs. But like what others said, don't. Maintain your civility and do not stoop to the level of your neighbors. Report it to the police. If nothing happens, prepare dog food laced with poison and put them where the dogs can find and eat them. That would teach your neighbors a lesson.

well you could record them on camera when they are out and send the tape to the animal control i think this is the best solution and if you say the dogs are agressive i think there are other neighbors that complain about the dogs so you could all give a complinement to the police

I would call animal control anyway. They will go to them and tell them to keep their dogs on a leash. Call the police as well if you have to. They cannot just let their dogs run a muck in the neighnorhood and expect people to not say anything, especially when the dogs are apparently violent. What type of dogs are they? Are the neighbors aware that they try to bight you?

I would go to the cops and them what is going on. Im sure they can help you. Thats the only thing I can think of. Hope you dont bit.

I wouldn't shoot them if I were you. No matter how much you protest that they were mean dogs, it's going to fall back on you shooting the dogs. You won't win.

Contact your Local Council, or Dog Control Authority. You may have to do this regularly before they take real action. Ring, email & write a letter to your neighbour, & send the same copies to the Council. Take photos of the dogs agressive actions. Video them if possible. If the worse becomes necessary, contact your local news station, they like this sort of news.

Just buy you some amonia or bleach and pour it down where they come on your property they will not come near it. Please do not shoot them. You might go to jail.
