Mango as a dry fruit is not very popular in India. The mango pulps are used in making ready to drink juice. There are many dry fruits like dates, figs, apricot are grown and also imported.

Our standard of living dry fruits are expensive food items. Even though cashew is grown in Karnataka, Tamilnadu, it is quite expensive, because the manufacturers are exporting this item.

All national and international dry fruits are available but one cannot have it now and then and it can be had only on some special occasions because some of these fruits are prohibitively exhorbitant. DATES; FIGS, CASHEW, ALMONDS,

Usually raisins, prunes, dates, peaches and pears. They are good to have as a 'fruit salad' I prefer eating raisins on their own however.
