When you feel yourself starting to get angry just take some deep breaths and try to step back from the situation. Talk yourself out of it by telling yourself to "calm down". I also tell myself that I control the anger and the anger doesnt control me!

anger just gets turned on sometimes inappropriately and we need to learn to control the trigger

think about it before you blow your top, the only one you upset is yourself and you end up feeling sorry for your self.

i guess it's a natural thing.. many times we lose our cools and tend to do things out of anger but it doesn't mean whatever we do is justified. most often than not we tend to be irrational when angry only to feel sorry after. i also know some people who have difficulty controlling their anger. i'd suggest you try to divert your energy to something else, because maybe you're just too stressed too and that could also be a factor.. try a sport that you like...or if you want, get yourself a sturdy punching bag where you can vent all your anger.

I manage my anger by keeping quiet and still for a while, and start counting. At first, I would count from 1 to 100 to let the steam off (you have to do the counting not infront of the person you're angry at because for me it won't work). Later on, when I have trained myself to be a little more patient, I would just count from 1 to 20. My friend is opposite. As time went on, he became more impatient, so he would count now from 1 to 1,000! Well, different strokes for different folks! If you have the impulse to kill someone (hahaha--that angry, huh!), I suggest you go to an anger management counselor or attend an anger management class. Good luck!

I usually control my anger by getting out of my house and go out with my friends for an hour or two or sometimes I go to some peacefull places like a park or playground
