Do you have having hard time looking for a GOOD discussion???

I've had trouble finding what I thought was a sensible discussion, yes. :) But after I filled out more of my profile and added some of my real interests, I can find discussions relating to them. It really helps.

finding quality discussions can be tough sometimes, then other times I don't have a problem....just depends on the day I guess.

lately i am because most of the times, the new discussions are a little bit similar (or the same) with the previous discussions

Yeah, most of the time. I encounter bad and repeating discussions here in MyLot. I think some of the discussions here are spam. I wish that MyLot can find away to stop spammers. But anyways, there are some really good discussion here in MyLot and respond only to the good ones.

I also do find it hard to look for sensible and interesting topics the respond to. When i first joined mylot, i never seemed to run out of ideas to post nor have less entusiasm to respond to topics. now i find it more and more diffult to find topics to respond, it would also took me almost an hour to find a good one.

i don't make any distinction between discussions in myLot. They all make sense if you just them into perspective. If I think I can say something nice and good about the topics, I comment on it without a second thought. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Yes,I hardly find good discussions but I try to post as good as I can

I am not having a hard time, there are lots of good discussions from my friends. and also, I use the search bar to find some good discussions and topics that I like to discuss and answer.

I won't waste an hour looking for one, but I know how you feel. Sometimes I'll browse through the new discussions and I'll realize after about 10 pages that there is not a single quality discussion to respond to. If my friends don't have any new discussions to post to, I'll just leave and do something else for a while. I've tried to look for discussions through my interests, but I haven't had much luck with that, either. I think it's best to leave and come back later so that you don't find yourself wasting too much time and getting discouraged.

I have alot of friends on my friends list and I have turned the notify on, so when they start a discussion it goes to my inbox. I can see if it is something that pertains or appeals to me. I find alot of interesting discussions this way.

Most of the time I read off of my friends list or do a search for things on the seach engine at the site. I do come across a lot that have duplicate posts or things that are way too alike but then there are times when I come across some that are extremely unique.

I agree with you to a degree, but this site is worldwide and caters for all ages, except kids, although sometimes I wonder, so occassionally it's difficult to find a topic that interests you. However, you are an intelligent lady, and you attract responses to your discussions. That should make you happy.

Yes I am agreeing with you. I'v been here only 4 days and I'\m starting to think that too many people are being influuneced by the money they could make. I mean it's only about a penny a discussion so you have to be on here only cause you like to talk, and not because you want to make money.

I don't usuaully have a tough time finding discussions to join in on because I am 54 and have a lot of experiences to share, both good and bad. But yes there are times that I have to look hard. But that is when I pick a topic and do search for that topic and then I can scan through the discussions more focused.

I wouldn't say that I spend close to an hour...but a few minutes. Now that I've been a member for quite a while...a little over a month...I have been able to respond to all the ones dealing with a lot of my interests, so it is harder to find one that I am interested in responding to. I guess the more you do, the harder it is to find good ones. But it's ok; it makes it more interesting.

i dont have a hard time looking for a good discussion because i can just go to my friends' discussions or my intersts' discussions because im sure that they should interest me however it is sometimes hard to find discussions that i want to respond to or that i have an opinion on so i often find myself just reading a discussion without responding. i hope i answered ur question ! =) take care n God bless !! ~maRian
