What was your favourite book growing up?

I loved The Outsiders, The Pigman, and Jane Eyre

When i was a teenager i have read a lot of books written by Steven King. steven king´s "it" is best book i read growing up. when i was a little boy i loved "the little prince".

When I was growing up my favorite book series was 'Little Critter'. Now I really enjoy reading Lurlene McDaniel books. I also like books based on true things, like titanic, but not exactly what happened, like the story within the story.

Growing up as in when I was a lot younger? Since I kind of still am growing up..lol. Well there was a book my dad always read to me, called the Little Red Hen. I had a really small version of it, meaning that the size of the book was small, but I still loved it. And I see that yours was Flowers In the Attic. I loved that book! It was soo great! Did you read the rest of the books that went along with that series? I didn't.

I had many favorites as a teenager because I loved reading and still do. A couple of my favorites were A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (I've lost track of how many times I've read this) and Flowers in the Attic.

as a young adult then, i grew up following francine pascals' sweet valley high series.

Arabian Nights, Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Hucklebury Fin of Mark Twain were my favourites.

I mostly enjoyed reading Nancy Drew mystery stories.

i dont have the habit of reading books....

My favorite book growing up was Bridge to Terebithia. I want to purchase a copy of it. I just saw a preview on TV that they are turning it into the movie. However, the movie does not look anything like I remember from the book. It seems to be based around this imaginary world they created. While that was an important part of the book, it was not the first thing that comes to mind when I remember it. Still, I am excited to see the movie.
