How much truth is there to the davinci code?

Im sure most of you have seen the movie, but im wondering, how much truth is there to the plot and idea of the film? Is the holy grail really the bloodline of christ? Was he relly married to mary? what are your ideas?

The story is fiction. The events are either made up or exaggerated. Its easy to tell there isn't truth in it since it is in the Fiction part of the bookstore. So no, I don't believe any of it because its just not true. The evidence isn't real, if it was, it would be a historical research book, not a dramatic thriller.

you dont think there could be truth mixed in the fiction? that would put it in the fiction section.

No, because I know for a fact that the core parts of his story are not true. So therefore the only true parts aren't the important part of the book that make it so dramatic.

How do you know that for a fact? I know for a fact there were gospils written that were left out, therefor we have no way of really knowing what happened

Haven't seen the movie but I read the book. The book is FICTION. It's author meant it to be FICTION. It's in the FICTION section of the library and is on the New York times best seller's FICTION list. Only the readers seem to be confused and think for some reason that it is a NONFICTION expose.

i understand that the book and movie is fiction. all im saying is think about how many fiction books are based upon fact, can there be a little truth to the fiction?
