For all you parents out there: do you ever find yourself feeling drained by working so hard to raise your children to the best of your ability? I have found it trying at times, but believe me - the benefits far outweigh the sacrifices. As this photograph suggests, life with children is life with meaning and beauty. Share with us your reasons as to why it is so great to be a parent.

Mother with baby - a mother with her baby kissing him on the nose
your so right the benefits far outweigh the sacrifices. I have my ups and downs with my kids but i wouldnt trade it for anything. I like watching my kids grow, learn, and to see them just healthy and clean brings joy to me. Just knowing they need me to take care of them they make me feel like i have purpose. Before i had kids i was lost and if my husband wasnt around i didnt know what to do with my self. but now that i have 3 childern my day is full.

whenever you feel low, talk to children, there vivacious smiles, zest for life is surely going to make you feel better. They have uncanny ability to sense that you are down. They always are making efforts to make you smile in there own sweet ways like making funny faces or smart talks, that's why they are cradle of happiness.

I love to watch my boys play sports! It really relaxes me and I enjoy the games themselves. I also like reading, playing games with them and helping them with homework. Children helped bring more focus to my life, especially as I grow older. I feel like we're friends too.

They are fun to be around, say cute things, we learn from them and they learn from us. They love you and look to you for guidance and take their cues from you. Everything you say or do is important to them. In their eyes you can do no wrong. Older children help you and share special moments with you and when you grow old they help to take care of you and some give you grandchildren to love, teach and adore. Psalms 127: Children are a heritage from the Lord.

Having someone you care about to spend the money you have besides on you and your partner. It's just a nice thing but you can't think that it will be like that for ever. Things are bound to change, for better or for worse, but nothing stays the same, if it's bad or good, remember that.

The best part is watching them grow into adults and realising you helped them become the lovely people they are and then to see your grandchildren and the love and all the lovely feelings are doubled and more xx

My son is 10 months old and so far the best thing about being a parent is watching him learn things. He amazes me. He will see me or my husband do something one time and then he'll just imitate it. It's amazing to me. Then he just smiles because he so proud of himself. The feeling of accomplisment is wonderful.

I think the best part is watching them learn new skills, and reaching milestones. I love watching my son play, and grow. I also love the hugs and kisses, and the innocence.
