When you order a latte, cappuccino, or other coffee drink, what flavor do you usually ask for? I usually go with either caramel or vanilla, but sometimes I like raspberry.

I used to own a coffee shop / espresso bar, so of course tried heaps of flavors (you have to have the product knowledge when you own a coffee shop ;) and my favorite flavored coffee is this. A double shot of espresso in a 10 ounce (300ml) glass, a shot of hazelnut flavor, then top that with frothy made with chocolate milk. Then I'd lightly shake hot chocolate power on the top, and serve it with a couple chocolate coated coffee beans... this is heaven in a glass....

And probably my second fave is basically the same as the above one, but instead of hazelnut, I'd use white chocolate flavor with the chocolate milk.... :)

Flavour? I didn't know there were flavours. I should get out more! I did try ordering a coffee 2 years ago, and they read off all these things I had never heard of ... and I asked for a black coffee and they had none. None! They didn't DO plain black coffee. Nuts.

Where on earth did you go that they didn't carry plain black coffee??? I have never even heard of someone not having that! Anyway, you can either order a shot of flavor added to your drink at a coffee house, or just get the flavored syrups to make your own at home.

I had some chocolate mint truffle creamer at my mother's doctor's office yesterday and have to say that is my favorite flavor yet. I've got to get some for home.

BunG, I always buy my coffee by the bean so I can grind it freshly every pot. I make my own very erractic blends! Most of my blend consists of some type of chocolate bean (I am a woman you know). I have a huge Tupperware bowl that I dump all of my beans in when I come home from the store. When I am at the store (usually Walmart because they have the best selection of beans in my town - we have a Seatlle's best coffee, but they don't carry beans for sale? go figure?), I buy about 1 pound of chocolate, 1/2 pound of vanilla, 1/4 pound of hazelnut, 1/4 pound of columbian, and if I'm feeling desperate, another 1/2 pound of chocolate. Then I go home and mix them in my bowl with all of my remaining beans and store them in another huge Tuppeware container. Now, here comes the BEST part. I also buy a container of chocolate powdered non-dairy creamer (it only comes in a small container) and a large container of plain white coffee creamer. I mix them together and store them in another container and when ready I take about a a cup and a half of the mixture out, add about 1/2 Tablespoon Watkins double strength vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon Watkins chocolate extract. I mix this up and then add enough water to make about 4 cups of non-dairy creamer. Are you sorry you asked this question? I was really ready with an answer for it!~Donna

LOL -- I'm sorry I already gave away the "best answer" designation! Sounds way yummy though. I really need to get myself a grinder. So far I just have to make due with the pre-ground stuff. Maybe I'll use my myLot earnings to get one of those!

Starbucks used to have an orange-flavored syrup called Valencia, it was so yummy when added to chocolate/mocha drinks! I miss it!

You have know idea what I would do for a nice tall hot Starbucks right now. Any kind. Where I live there is not one and it really sucks. But I tend to like the choclate and vanilla flavors... I just had a cinnamon one the other day and that was very tasty. Hmmmmm I wish I could just blink my eyes and have one right here.

I really like the English Toffee flavored coffee. If I add at home it is hazel nut (Frangelico) has a little more kick to it. wink wink. A dollop of whipped cream never hurt a coffee either.

Carmel, vanilla and raspberry are my top favorites also. I like to get a mocha with carmel added to it...mmm-mmm. At the gas station I get those steamers and I mix a couple of the flavors together. THey usually have mocha and a raspberry steamer so I mix them about half and half.

I like vanilla, too, but recently tried hazelnut. It's really good! One of the people at the coffee shop suggested it and I'm glad I agreed to give it a try!

I have always had a thing for french vanilla. I has that kinda taste you get when eating the good expensive brand or the unheardof brands. ITs kind of a marshmallowy taste with a little vanilla bean flavor.

The flavor that I add depends on what coffee I order. If the coffee is african, like coffee from Kenya,I like Valencia/Orange because it complements the coffee. If I order coffee from Latin America,I usually go for vanilla or caramel..Yumm!

Oooohh, good question. I usually prefer it straight, but if I had to pick a flavor, I would definitely go with Hazelnut.
