someone once said that for everything you gain you have to give up something.this is especially true in comparing our world with the world of our grandparents.we gained the subway, but have to put up with being crowded like sardnes and herded like cattle, being pushed and shoved.we gained large building and big cities, but we cost our privacy and we are forced to live in little cubby holes.we gained airplanes and automobiles, but with modern means of travel we must suffer dirty air and pollution.

Everything that happens in this world has some positive and negative sides always, human has made tremendous improvement in his life style and went to be dependant on technology. One important thing he lost in this process is his own privacy and natural life. I grew up within shadow of my grand parents, and i feel myself lucky about that. Not many children today get that love and affection these days due to separate families. I also want to progress, but don't want to lose important things i have gained so far.

every century has its good points and its problems,I don't want to go back to living a hundred years ago,but I do feel that we could learn from the way our grandparents lived.maybe we could adopt some of their customes and bring some of the good old days into today's world.
