At what age did you child start talking?

My son is almost 19 months and he still isn't talking. This weekend he started saying a little bit more. He now says kitty, and grandma besides the typical momma and dadda.

Do your parents like not really put pressure but just keep asking are they talking yet?

Yes, my mom alwayas asks me if he's talking yet. It gets annoying because he'll talk when he's ready I don't want to pressure him. I think my mom does it because I started talking when I was about a year old, and he's now 19 months and isn't say much. They are just worried.

It seems the more you pressure them into the more they don't want to do it when you want them too but one day they will just start
